Software Support Officer


Job Information

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our small, bright and dynamic team. We are looking for candidates with strong customer support or training experience ideally in an IT environment, and a good understanding of business software and modern browser-based products and apps.

The role is challenging and varied, providing first line telephone and email support to our customers throughout the UK, and fielding inbound sales enquiries and providing product demonstrations via the internet. You will forge close relationships with our clients becoming their main points of contact and helping them tailor our product for their business.

The successful candidate will become an expert in our products, but also gain in-depth knowledge of the complementary health sector in the UK, and will be asked to provide input on the future growth and direction of our product development.

Experience of the following is essential:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong tasking, ownership, and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical skills able to work through problems
  • Proven customer care experience
  • Proven IT support experience
Experience of the following is desirable but not essential:
  • CSS, HTML, JQUERY
  • PHP
  • SQL
  • Crystal Reports
  • VB or C# (or similar for data conversion)
  • App store publishing experience
